Abreskia it is a project born in Samugheo (OR), in the heart of Sardinia, to enhance the tangible and intangible heritage of the inland territories and transform it into new creative, social, and economic opportunities.
We have started a project of great value: the regeneration of a historic building, typical of the Barigadu and Mandrolisai, which will become a production center, artistic residence and cultural innovation.
An open, vibrant place where craftsmanship, art, agri-food, and hospitality meet to generate new forms of economy and community.
Through an approach sustainable and participatory, Abreskia works for:
to counteract it depopulation of the internal countries;
create opportunities for young people;
strengthen networks between artists, artisans, producers and cultural operators;
preserve and reinterpret the identity heritage of Sardinia.
Today we are looking for support and collaboration to make this project fully operational.
We need not only economic resources, but also skills, ideas and active participation:
of those who want to contribute with voluntary or professional work,
of those who can offer materials, tools or services,
of those who wish activate cultural, institutional or entrepreneurial synergies,
of those who simply believe that the rebirth of countries comes from culture and cooperation.
Abreskia is already on its way, but to grow it needs a network of people and entities that share the same vision.
Supporting Abreskia means investing in the future of Sardinia, in the beauty of its villages and in the creative strength of its communities.
