Casa Amsicora is a typical Sardinian trachyte stone house of great historical and architectural value, located in the historic center of Samugheo. The property extends over 270 square meters, distributed across 15 rooms, with a 470 square meter garden featuring orange, mandarin, and walnut trees.

The MURATS: the museum that tells the story of a thousand years of Sardinian weaving.
The training course includes a visit to the MURATS — Regional Museum of Sardinian Textile Art. The MURATS Museum perpetuates and preserves Sardinia's textile history. Its spacious exhibition spaces host contemporary art exhibitions, in addition to the permanent collection of artifacts from across the island.
A visit to the museum isn't just a cultural experience: it's an integral part of the course. Understanding the history of a fabric, recognizing its symbols and techniques on original specimens, profoundly changes the way you sit at the loom.
Must-see surroundings: archaeology, spas, and mystery 30 km away
Samugheo is a strategic base for exploring one of Sardinia's most historically rich areas. Less than 30 km away are three sites of extraordinary importance that are absolutely worth a visit.
The Roman Baths of Fordongianus They are a dive into the most authentic antiquity. Along the left bank of the Tirso River stand the majestic remains of a vast thermal complex built by the Romans between the 1st and 3rd centuries AD. The waters still flow today at a temperature of 54°C. Next to the ancient baths, a modern facility offers thermal pools, a sauna, and wellness treatments: the perfect relaxation after a day at the loom.
The Nuraghe Losa, near Abbasanta, is among the largest and best-preserved Nuragic complexes in Sardinia, along with Su Nuraxi in Barumini and Santu Antine in Torralba. Its cyclopean basalt stone towers, built in the Bronze Age between 1600 and 1200 BC, still exude a sense of power and mystery that is difficult to describe.
A short distance from the Nuraghe Losa is the Sacred Well of Santa Cristina, in Paulilatino. The well temple of Santa Cristina (12th century BC) is one of the finest examples of the elaborate religious architecture of the Nuragic era: a trapezoidal staircase leads to a circular domed underground chamber, built from finely cut basalt blocks. A breathtaking site, designed so that sunlight reaches the body of water on the equinoxes, revealing an astronomical awareness extraordinary for the time.
